Returns, Refunds & Right of Withdrawal Policy
Last updated: July 27, 2026 — Teknodem
This policy explains how to cancel an order, exercise your statutory right of withdrawal and obtain a refund when shopping at Teknodem İç ve Dış Ticaret Limited Şirketi (www.powertimeepoxy.com). It reflects Articles 9 to 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU and the legal guarantee of conformity under Directive (EU) 2019/771. Your statutory rights are not affected by anything in this policy.
1. Your Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.
- The period runs from the day you (or a third party indicated by you, other than the carrier) take physical possession of the Goods.
- Multiple Goods in one order delivered separately — from receipt of the last item.
- Goods delivered in multiple lots or pieces — from receipt of the last lot or piece.
- Regular deliveries over a defined period — from receipt of the first item.
- For service contracts, the period runs from the day the contract was concluded.
If we failed to inform you (Art. 10 CRD): where we did not provide the required information about your right of withdrawal, the period is extended by 12 months. If we provide that information during those 12 months, the period ends 14 days after you receive it.
2. How to Exercise the Right
Inform us of your decision by an unequivocal statement — email, letter, or the Model Withdrawal Form available on our website. Use of the form is optional. Sending your communication before the period expires is sufficient; the burden of proving that you exercised the right in time is on you, so we recommend keeping proof of dispatch.

| Postal Address | Sümer Mah. 2482/2 Sk. Skycity B Blok İş Merkezi No:4/1/26 |
We acknowledge receipt of your withdrawal notice on a durable medium without delay (Art. 11(3) CRD).
3. Returning the Goods
- Send the Goods back without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal (Art. 14(1) CRD). Dispatching within that period is sufficient.
- You are liable only for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the Goods — in other words, you may inspect the item as you would in a physical shop (Art. 14(2) CRD).
- Please include the invoice or order reference so that we can identify your return quickly.
Return shipping costs: Article 14(1) CRD places the direct cost of return on the Consumer unless the trader agrees to bear it. Teknodem İç ve Dış Ticaret Limited Şirketi bears these costs — a prepaid return label is issued with every accepted withdrawal request. For faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied Goods, all costs are borne by us in every case.
3.1 Epoxy & Resin Products — Return Conditions
- Epoxy resin, hardener, and pigment products must be returned in their unopened packaging, with seals intact and in their original box.
- For products sold as sets (resin + pigment kits), all components must be returned in full.
- The product must not have passed its expiration or shelf-life date.
- The return must be accompanied by the original receipt or invoice.
- The product must be shipped within the specified timeframe from the date of cancellation notice.
4. Refunds
- We reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery, without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of being informed of your withdrawal (Art. 13(1) CRD).
- Refunds are made using the same means of payment used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise. No fee is charged for the refund.
- We may withhold the refund until we receive the Goods back or until you supply evidence of having sent them, whichever is earlier (Art. 13(3) CRD).
- If you selected a more expensive delivery option than our cheapest standard delivery, we reimburse the standard delivery cost only (Art. 13(2) CRD).
- Card refunds are transferred to your bank in a single instalment; the time it takes to appear on your statement depends on your card issuer and is outside our control.
- Instalment purchases are refunded to the issuing bank in one payment; the bank may credit your account in instalments.
5. When the Right of Withdrawal Does Not Apply
Under Article 16 CRD the right of withdrawal is excluded for, among others:
- Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
- Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
- Sealed Goods unsuitable for return on health protection or hygiene grounds, once unsealed.
- Goods which are, after delivery, inseparably mixed with other items.
- Sealed audio/video recordings or computer software, once unsealed.
- Newspapers, periodicals and magazines, except subscription contracts.
- Goods whose price depends on financial market fluctuations outside our control.
- Services fully performed with your prior express consent and acknowledgement of the loss of the right.
- Digital content supplied on a non-tangible medium where performance began with your prior express consent and acknowledgement.
- Accommodation, transport, car rental, catering and leisure services scheduled for a specific date or period.
5.1 Epoxy & Resin Products — Sector-Specific Exceptions
- Contracts for chemical products whose protective elements such as packaging, tape, seals, or wrapping have been opened after delivery, and whose return is not suitable on grounds of health and hygiene.
- Contracts for products that, after delivery, become mixed with other products and cannot be separated by their nature (mixed resin-hardener, prepared color blends).
- Contracts for products prepared in accordance with the consumer's specifications (custom color mixes, made-to-order castings, bespoke epoxy tables/objects).
6. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
Separately from the right of withdrawal, you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity under Directive (EU) 2019/771 for 24 months from delivery.
- A lack of conformity appearing within one year of delivery is presumed to have existed at delivery; we bear the burden of proving otherwise (Art. 11).
- Your remedies, in order: repair or replacement free of charge, then price reduction or termination of the contract with a refund.
- You may terminate immediately where the lack of conformity is serious, where we have refused or failed to bring the Goods into conformity, or where the defect reappears despite our attempts.
- All costs of bringing the Goods into conformity, including return postage, are borne by us.
6.1 Epoxy & Resin Products — What to Check on Delivery
- Inspect the packaging in the presence of the courier upon delivery; if there is leakage, crushing, or a broken bottle/container, have an official damage report drawn up.
- Do not touch leaking or damaged chemical products with bare hands; photograph them and notify the seller.
- Crystallization (clouding) of epoxy resin in cold weather is not a product defect; the product can be restored by warming it in a warm water bath.
- Return shipping costs shall be borne by the seller in the event of an incorrect product, incorrect color, or missing set component.
- Replacement or full refund options shall be offered for damaged chemical products; return shipping costs shall be borne by the seller.
7. Cancelling Before Dispatch
- You may cancel an Order at any time before dispatch by contacting us through the channels above or via your account.
- Cancelled Orders are refunded in full, including any delivery charge, within 14 days.
- Once dispatched, a cancellation request is treated as an exercise of the right of withdrawal and handled under sections 1 to 4 above.
- If we cannot fulfil an Order (for example because the Goods are unavailable), we inform you without delay and refund all payments received without undue delay.
Complaints & Alternative Dispute Resolution
Please contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly and directly. We aim to acknowledge every complaint within 5 business days and to provide a substantive response within 30 days.
- Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR): under Directive 2013/11/EU, consumers resident in the EU may refer a dispute to a certified ADR entity in their country of residence. A list of certified entities is maintained by each Member State’s competent authority.
- National consumer bodies: consumers may also contact their national consumer protection authority, or their local European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net) for cross-border assistance.
- Courts: nothing in this document limits a consumer’s right to bring proceedings before the courts of their country of residence, as provided by Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 (Brussels I recast) and Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (Rome I).
Note on the EU ODR platform: the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform ceased operating on 20 July 2025 and Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 was repealed by Regulation (EU) 2024/3228. There is therefore no longer any obligation — or possibility — to refer disputes to that platform, and no link to it is provided.
